History, symbolism, era

The name Antheia comes from the Greek goddess of flowers and spring - the personification of gentleness, fertility and cyclical rebirth. The motif of the central flower with a radiant circle is inspired by reliefs from the Hellenistic era, in which gold and light were treated as a link between divinity and man. In Hellenistic Greece, ornaments often took on naturalistic forms – leaves, flowers and wind-whirled forms – symbolising a woman’s connection with nature, cycles and the cosmos.

Symbolism of elements and stones

The labradorite in the centre of the bracelet is called the “stone of destiny” – it supports intuition, protects the aura and brings inner peace. Its shine resembles the polar lights, and in mythology it was identified with the bridge between the visible and invisible worlds. Ornaments in the form of liquid waves and leaves symbolise the natural flow of life and protection – like a wreath worn during initiation rituals.

Handmade process

The process of creating the bracelet begins with hand-casting the form in gilded brass, giving it structure and deeply grooved plant details. Then the surface is processed – polished and brushed to bring out the two-dimensional contrast of light and shadow. Finally, the labradorite is hand-set in the centre – with the utmost precision so as not to damage its natural shine – and the whole thing is secured with a special protective layer that adds shine and durability.
