Symbolism and art history

The name "Thalassa" comes from Greek mythology – it was the primordial goddess of the sea, the personification of its infinite depth and mystery. In the Hellenistic era, jewelry became more personal and symbolic – it combined luxury with mysticism. The style of the bracelet is inspired by the luxury of the court of the Eastern Roman emperors, where gold bands decorated with stones testified to power, wealth and divine protection.

Symbolism of the elements

Green chalcedony symbolizes solace, harmony and protection against evil influences – in ancient Greece it was worn by travelers and sages. Onyx, in turn, represented inner strength and mystery, acting as a spiritual shield in everyday life. The combination of these stones in one bracelet creates an amulet of balance – between light and shadow, soul and body.

Handmade process

The bracelet is created in several stages: first, a brass mold is cast with an appropriately grainy texture, inspired by ancient goldsmithing. Then, the craftsman hand-sets cabochons made of chalcedony and onyx, taking care of their symmetrical arrangement. Finally, the whole thing is covered with 24-karat gold and polished to bring out the depth of colors and give shine to old inspirations.
