In ancient Egypt, the scarab was considered the incarnation of the god Khepri, symbolizing rebirth and the daily sunrise.
The turquoise enamel refers to Egyptian faience and jewelry discovered in the tomb of Tutankhamun, where this color meant life and protection.
The setting in the shape of a coiled snake resembles the diadems of the pharaohs with the uraeus motif – the royal cobra guarding the secret of immortality.

Handmade process

The necklace was made using the traditional lost wax technique – first, a precise model is formed, which is then cast in brass, smoothed and engraved. The pattern is filled with hand-applied vitreous enamel in a shade of turquoise, fired in layers for depth and durability of the colour. The final stage is gilding with 24-karat gold, polishing to shine and mounting the pendant on an elegant chain.
