The Jahanara Dove Choker refers in its form and color to the court jewelry of the Great Mughals, where bird motifs decorated both necklaces and fabrics. Princess Jahanara Begum, daughter of Emperor Shah Jahan, was not only a patron of art and architecture, but also a promoter of spiritual freedom, symbolized by a flying bird. Finally, a string of pearls is mounted - threaded, matched in color and fastened with a classic clasp, creating a choker with perfect symmetry.
